MyEXPI: How to apply for Mevlana Exchange Program

Basically Mevlana Exchange Program is one of exchange program name. There are many universities in Turkey; involve on these program as for instance Karabuk University (like my host university), Suleiman Demirel University in Isparta, Istanbul University, Marmara University in Istanbul, and others (you can find it by yourself in Google. 

How to apply? 

Note: This tips and procedures can be applied especially for IIUM Students in future✨ and may be changed from times to times. This is the procedures in the year of 2018.

Below are procedures before being accepted:

1. You just wait in Imaalum there will be announcements for application of Mevlana exchange program. Usually it will open the applications in the beginning semester.
2. So, you just download the application form. Fill in the form and submit to the ICCEO office (nearby postlaju office IIUM).
3. The result will be announced at the end of the same semester you submit the form.
4. You will receive email if you succeed the application. 
5. For your information, the students who succeed the application, are the students who have been chosen by the host university in Turkey.
6. Additional, to insecure your application, just apply all universities offered😇 Like me,I applied five universities and I have been accepted by two of five universities; which is Karabuk University with scholarship and Suleyman Demirel University without scholarship. I chose Karabuk University as the university offer me the scholarship.
   

About scholarship?

   Actually it is not based on CGPA, it based on rezeki. So just pray to Allah and I always pray after solat like this “Ya Allah, rezekikan aku, Iyang, Madihah, Ilham biasiswa Mevlana Exchange Program.” Hehe🙈 (orang kata kalau nak doa makbul, rahsiakan doa kita daripada orang lain, tapi sebab Alhamdulillah dah makbul 50% daripada doa, takpekan kongsi hehe. Awak yang nak mohon pun boleh cuba doa ni mana tahu termakbul ke).

Note: Actually the students and the scholarship are being selected by the Government of Turkey itself; not from our home university.

How long does it takes time to be accepted after application?

We have to wait for five to six months after submit the application.

How can we know that the application has been accepted?

International Office of International Relation (ICCEO) IIUM will email us or also the host university will email or notify us.
