Assalamualaikum,

Documents to be settled studying as Exchange Student in Karabük Üniversitesi, Turkey (after arrival at Turkey):

• Dormitory fee:

-575tl per months for foreigner at Ayvazlaryurt depend on Dorm)

-Depends; but my expectations for Ayvazlar dormitory...it included the heater in building and room, hot shower, service bus to campus, breakfast, dinner, cleaner service, washing machine, refrigerator, study room, gym room, computer room, dining room, wifi access.

• Insurance (depend; for ours, it is 70-75₺)

• Residency permit/Ikamet

-Payment: 73/74₺ for Karabük Üniversitesi, they will collect the money and assist us from A till Z alhamdulillah

-Prepare 4 passport pictures (white background)

-Original passport for appoinment date (they’ll give appoinment date after we do online registration)

-Malaysian dont need visa but they have to apply Residency permit (can be applied after arrival).

• Courses:

-free; just pay university fees like usual)

-minimum 3 courses, max I dont know

-Turkish course: provided during our time but only for early two months 

• Scholarship: 

-2 weeks after open acc (during my time, we opened Ziraat Bankasi acc)

-3200₺ will be transferred to our acc 

-another 800₺ will get after complete the semester

Note for future exchange student: Dont worry bcs Mevlana office of KBÜ üniversitesi (PIC) will assist and help.
